My favorites – jewelry

This is a new category I’m trying out. You know how you have lots of clothes, bags, hats, books and things like that, but you always end up choosing the same ones? In this category I will show you my favorite things within a certain theme.

So today, it’s jewelry. I am a fan of simple accessories because they go with anything. Having said that, I still like my jewelry to be a little bit ‘off’ so they remain attractive without dominating an outfit.

Only when I have a special party I go looking for suitable items in my jewelry box, but I have four pieces of jewelry which I wear pretty much all the time.

Ring
My boyfriend gave me this ring a few years ago and I still love it! It’s made of steel and I wear it every day. I feel that it really matches my personality.

Plexiglass necklace
I bought this necklace from my friend Aleks who designs them. She was wearing one once and I totally fell for it. I like it because it’s so clean and simple but appealing at the same time. It takes on all the colours of the world and it looks like a little mirror, too.

Peace necklace
The pendant I bought at an Ibiza market, the ideal place to buy such a symbol in my opinion. I have this love for Woodstock and the seventies (the sixties are also pretty awesome!) and this necklace fits that perfectly.

Beard necklace
This necklace fits the description above the best. It’s a pretty strange piece of jewelry but still goes with almost any outfit. I got this at Studio Ruig. The beard is made of leather and it’s so big that you can actually ‘wear’ it by hooking the chain behind your ears!

So these are the accessories I wear the most. How about you? Do you have favorites that you keep coming back to? Or jewelry you never take off?
